Project Accountant

We have an urgent job opening for a Project Accountant with Odoo experience with a well-established Project Management client in Abu Dhabi that has been growing organically strength to strength.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Odoo software to track reconciliations, project profitability, claims, contracts, quotations, purchases, prices, invoices, payments, etc.
The incumbent will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with accounting and finance team and prepare financial statements on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage work of all accountants Job
• Processing Bills & payments for all availed services which include all the leasing, contracting, trading & retail activities.
• Preparing Outstanding reports on a daily basis reporting them to the Project Director and Head of Finance.
• Initiating & approving data in the billing system & collecting the required documents as per billing rules for validating & securing safely.
• Reviewing bills and expense sheets from site engineers on a daily basis to reconcile with the collection and charges, auditing Bills, report & merchant statement, correcting the mismatch or discrepancies effectively, and reporting mismatch issues to the Head of Finance for necessary corrections at the same instance and closing the day by ensuring the collections are accurate and following-up with the team for mismatch issues corrections.
• Collecting cash summary reports & POS receipts from cashiers on a daily basis to reconcile with the collection and charges, auditing POS receipts, report & merchant statement, correcting the mismatch or discrepancies effectively, and reporting mismatch issues to the Head of Finance for necessary corrections at the same instance and closing the day by ensuring the collections are accurate and following-up with the team for mismatch issues corrections.
• Weekly Bank Reconciliation, and Submission of Closed Balances for all Liquidity Accounts.
• Audit compliance on all billing, exemptions, and bill modification done.
• Facilitating Refund Request through head office approvals
• Preparing Outstanding Report on a daily basis & coordinating with a service area in charge of clarity and reporting it to Top management.
• Perform Additional duties assigned from time to time to support the business.

Must-Have Experience

• Accounts & Finance: 3 years (Required)
• Costing, Budgeting & Auditing: 2 years (Required)
• Payables and Receivables: 2 years (Preferred)
• Odoo ERP: 2 years (Required)
• Minimum 3 years experience in the field with Odoo experience
• Accounts Degree only holder need to apply.
• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
